What is Jev Free?

Jev Free is an independent interface for exploring structured AI decisions. Build typed questions, try illustrative examples, and export requests for TypeSafe’s Jev API. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by TypeSafe.

Is it actually free?

The example playground and request builder are free, with no sign-up. Live Jev inference requires provider access and may have usage costs. The status badge tells you whether this site is showing examples or connected to a provider.

Are the example results generated by AI?

No. Results labeled “Illustrative” are fixed examples made to explain the interface. They are not model predictions. Editing an example clears its results, so a sample is never presented as an analysis of your new text.

What happens to my text?

Text is kept in the current browser tab and is not saved in browser storage. Running an example sends the request to this server only to match a predefined example; no AI provider is called. When live mode is enabled, submitted text and questions are sent to TypeSafe for analysis. This app does not log request bodies or save your inputs. Standard server access logs can include your IP address.

Can I use Jev as a chatbot?

Jev is designed for structured decisions. It returns a choice, a numeric score, or a yes/no probability. It does not generate conversational replies. You can use its decisions to route requests within a larger application.
